YPI Asia partners with an inspiring local project in Batusangkar, where volunteers support daily programs focused on education, cultural preservation, environmental awareness, and community development. You’ll help teach English, assist in creative workshops, take part in environmental activities, and connect deeply with local people.
This program is not just about helping others — it’s about learning, growing, and discovering a different way of life. You’ll be surrounded by rice fields, mountains, and a warm, welcoming community that will make you feel right at home.
The project is based in Batusangkar, a small, authentic town in the beautiful highlands of West Sumatra — about 2.5 hours from Minangkabau International Airport in Padang. The perfect place to start your Indonesian adventure!
