Gap Year Program
This 4 to 6-month program places you on the front lines of forest conservation. Working in collaboration with national parks and local NGOs, you will help bridge the gap between human development and wildlife protection. This is an intense, field-based experience that offers a raw look at what it takes to save our planet’s green lungs.
Passionate about wildlife and biodiversity.
Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor jungle conditions.
Background in Biology, Environmental Science, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).
Strong English communication skills for international reporting.
Biodiversity Monitoring: Assisting in camera trap data collection for Sumatran tigers and orangutans.
Reforestation Initiatives: Planting native tree species and managing nursery sites.
Community Education: Organizing workshops for local schools about the importance of zero-poaching.
Conservation Advocacy: Creating digital content to raise awareness and funding for forest protection.
Database Management: Documenting wildlife sightings and forest health indicators.
