We offer a 4-month immersive program that bridges the gap between environmental conservation and creative economic development. You will collaborate with local tourism villages and conservation organizations to design eco-friendly tourism strategies. Your goal is to ensure that Lombok’s natural beauty is preserved through sustainable practices while empowering the people who call it home.
REQUIREMENTS
High school graduates or university students currently taking a gap year.
A passionate interest in environmental issues and community empowerment.
Strong communication skills in English (proficiency in Indonesian is a plus).
Adaptive, independent, and ready to embrace a semi-rural lifestyle.
Basic skills in digital documentation (photography/videography) are highly valued.
SCOPE OF WORK
Sustainability Auditing: Assist in mapping eco-tourism potential in villages around Kuta, Lombok.
Educational Workshops: Develop and co-lead English literacy or digital marketing training for local residents.
Marine Conservation Support: Get hands-on with coral reef rehabilitation and scheduled beach cleanup initiatives.
Social Media Storytelling: Create visual journals and articles to promote “Responsible Travel” through digital platforms.
Impact Reporting: Compile social impact reports based on the projects completed during the program.
