The Company
The internship company is a newly established PADI Dive Resort on the beautiful island of Nusa Penida, Bali. They offer daily dive trips and all PADI courses in a lush, tropical environment. The island is growing fast but is still preserved and it is a beautiful and authentic way to experience Bali’s life.
Nusa Penida
Nusa Penida is an island southeast of Indonesia’s island Bali and a district of Klungkung Regency that includes the neighboring small island of Nusa Lembongan. About thousand tourists have been visited Nusa Penida island to stay and enjoy the magnificence scenery. The island is getting more popular and it has some great diving & snorkeling spots!
What you will do
We are looking for a marketing intern that is going to help with promoting the companies’ activities. They will give you training in digital marketing and the other (marketing) tools that they use, as well as giving you a feel for what the company stands for and who they are.
We expect you to help/be in charge of the following:
– Daily posting on social media channels
– Content creation for the website’s blog
– Trip Advisor management and follow up
– Take photos of daily activities, the dive shop life, anything that is good content to
use for marketing
– Set up an email database for customers and set up a newsletter for them
– Do some benchmark and research
– Give any brilliant, creative, out of the box ideas that you can come up with to
boost the marketing and communication.
Requirements
We are looking for someone creative, that enjoys digital marketing, that will be happy to build competencies and be independent, and someone that is comfortable working in a small multi-cultural team. You’ll also need to be at ease in an environment that is not exactly up to modern world standards and a bit more remote than Bali and be flexible. You need to speak excellent English, If you are already a diver, great! If not, then the company will give you the taste of it!
Benefits
If you are a certified diver, then the company will be happy to take you out diving as often as possible on weekends providing space available for you. If you would like to start diving or continue your education, you can complete 2 recreational courses of your choice for free, such as Open Water Diver, Advanced Diver, Rescue Diver, specialties. You will only need to pay the training materials and certification fees. If you would like to become a dive professional and train as a Divemaster, there will also be possibilities.
